2 States (2014)
2 States is cross-cultural romance movie where a Punjabi boy (Arjun Kapoor) falls in love with a Tamilian girl (Alia Bhatt). The two meet each other at IIM Ahmedabad and fall in love. The college romance soon leads to marriage but their different backgrounds plays spoilsport.
Yaariyan is a college film with fresh faces and the film marks the directorial debut of Divya Khosla Kumar. The movie tells the story of a group of college students as they navigate their college life through young love and their social life to another level. Though the critics didn’t appreciate the movie, the youth jived to its peppy numbers.
Students Of The Year (2012)
Karan Johar’s 2012 film Student of the Year introduced not one but three debutants (Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan & Sidharth Malhotra). The movie is based in the competitive St. Theresa College and the three are the most popular kids in their college campus. How love and rivalry changes the course of their lives forms the crux of the film.
3 Idiots (2009)
Two friends (Madhavan and Sharman Joshi) go in search of their third pal (Aamir Khan), an inspirational figure who taught them to look at life differently. The movie’s catch praise ‘All is well’ became famous. The highlight of the film was 30 plus actors successfully playing college kids.

Ishq Vishk (2003)
A cute triangle, this was about Rajiv (Shahid Kapoor) and Payal (Amrita Rao) who have been friends since childhood. While Payal is in love with Rajiv, it takes him a bit longer to return her feelings. Rajiv is busy wooing the college hottie Alisha (Shehnaz Treasurywala).
Mohabbatein portrayed the tussle between love and rebellion. Raj Aryan (Shah Rukh Khan) who stands for love, is ready to go to any lengths and ‘heights’ and take on Narayan Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan) who stands for authority. He believes that love leads to pain and weakness. It is also the story of three young men and women who follow their heart against many odds in this tussle between love and control.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)
During their campus days, Anjali (Kajol) was in love with her best friend Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan), but he had eyes only for Tina (Rani Mukerji). Years later, Rahul and the now-deceased Tina’s eight-year-old daughter (also named Anjali) attempts to reunite her father and his best friend Anjali.
Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992)
A rich brat (Deepak Tijori) and a poor guy (Aamir Khan) try to woo a girl (Pooja Bedi), with their rivalry culminating in the most celebrated college event – the marathon cycle race. The song Pehla nasha from the movie became a huge hit and is still one of B-towns most romantic song.
