When talking about failed marriages the percentage globally is just as much as the successful ones, which means out of all the marriages only 50% of the marriages succeed and the rest of the 50% fail due to some reason or the other. But there are certain reasons which are found to be the most common ones which are the top most culprits of a failed marriage. Below we have mentioned five such reasons, make sure you never commit any of these.
1. Not giving importance to each other
Couples often complain that when they were newly married things were much more romantic as compared to after a few months or few years into the marriage. Things get even worse when they have children and all their attention get diverted. The date nights, the long drives and the crazy thing you used to do to do together get stopped all at once. This is what leads to loss of attachment and soon your relationship starts to shatter and crumble into pieces.
2. Poor communication
Communication is one of the most important aspects of having a blissful marriage. Whether you fight or indulge in romantic talks; it is important that you talk. You must share what’s on your mind with your spouse. Share your happiness, sorrows, achievements, failures and probably anything that is worth sharing should be talked about. Also, avoid pulling out old talks at any time. Whatever happened in the past should be left in the past. ‘
3. Don’t keep secrets
There is no way you should hide anything from your spouse. You are supposed to share your life with your life partner and thus there is no reason to hide anything at all. Hiding things from your partner leads to suspicion and may also result in fights and ultimately a broken marriage.
4. Making your married life public
There is no harm in sharing your happy and sad moments in life with your family members and close friends, but putting your married life out in the open completely is not a good decision. There are certain things which you should never discuss with others and thus it is important for both the partners to draw a boundary when it comes to sharing the details of your marriage with others.
