Model and TV anchor Shibhani Dandekar and noted singer Anushka Manchanda both thrilled audiences at the National Championship of the first ever NBA 3X presented by Sprite at Inorbit Mall, Malad on Sunday.
Dandekar tipped off the National Championship but not before trying her hand at shooting a few baskets. Manchanda took centre stage following the action on the court and ensured a lively end to the event which took off in Delhi on September 15.
NBA 3X presented by Sprite featured the largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament ever staged in India with an estimated 400 teams participating. The event also visited Hyderabad and Chennai before its climax in Mumbai and included performances from top musical artists or well-known DJ each day; and a variety of on and off the court activities for fans.
The 3-on-3 tournament witnessed action across two age divisions: 16-18 and 18-23. The winners in each city were flown to Mumbai to compete in a National Championship on Oct. 21.
