One of the world’s leading brands, BACARDI, hosted an event titled BACARDI UNTAMEABLE SINCE 1862 at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon last night. The event was a tribute to the brand’s stunning history spanning 151 years and was conceptualized by the BACARDI team and Wizcraft. The night also marked the launch of a new, powerful brand identity which draws from this extraordinary story – BACARDI. UNTAMEABLE SINCE 1862.The glittering showcase of BACARDI’s incredible legacy and history was attended by the who’s who of Delhi, fashion fraternity, socialites, business elite and other renowned faces all coming together to celebrate 151 years of BACARDI. Hosts of the evening, Nandini Bhalla, Gauri and Nainika and Shalini Arora Kochhar came together to raise a toast to the amazing success of BACARDI and were seen mingling with their guests Bollywood stars, Neha Dhupia and Sonu Sood graced the evening with their star studded presence. Everyone collectively celebrated the stunning legacy of BACARDI and the incredibly rich history behind the brand.VIVA LA PASION, the modern theatrical telling the extraordinary story of the Bacardi family over the last 151 years had everyone in awe. The showcase highlighted how fate threw everything at the BACARDI family including fire, earthquakes, business challenges (like Prohibition in America), revolution and exile from their homeland.However, the Bacardis not only survived, they thrived owing to their passion to overcome turmoil. The evening echoed their sentiment since 1862 that ‘True Passion Can’t Be Tamed’.The theatrical showcase was met with thunderous applause as the audiences were seen collectively in awe of BACARDI’s incredible history right from the inception in Cuba to one of the world’s most recognizable brands Guests thereon moved to the after party at the Cuban Square where Hamza and his percussionists wowed audiences.
