Ungli Disappoints at Box-Office

Rensil D’Silva’s vigilante-justice flick Ungli has had an average first week at the box-office. Ungli had a average first weekend at the Box Office in India.

According to koimoi.com, the film collected Rs.3.60 crore on Friday, Rs.4 crore on Saturday and Rs.5.05 crore on Sunday taking the weekend total to Rs.12.35 crore. Despite big starcast and Dharma Productions backing, it failed to pull the crowd to the cinemas.

The film is performing much lower than Emraan Hashmi’s last release Raja Natwarlal. With this pace, Ungli could turn out to be a bad year-ender for Randeep Hooda and Kangana Ranaut too, who had a superb beginning with Highway and Queen, respectively.
