Aishwarya Rajesh, who was last seen in Ka Pae Ranasingam, ws rumoured to play athlete Shanthi Soundararajan in her biopic. Recently, a poster of Shanthi Soundararajan biopic went viral on social media. However, Aishwarya Rajesh’s publicist took to Twitter to announce that Aishwarya is not a part of the biopic and asked everyone not to believe in such rumours.
SHANTHI SOUNDARARAJAN GETS A BIOPIC

Athlete Shanthi Soundararanjan is the first Tamil woman to win a medal at the Asian Games. Now, reports are rife that a biopic based on the life of Shanthi Soundararajan is in the works and will be directed by Jayaseelan Thavapudhalvi.

There were rumours that Aishwarya Rajesh will play the lead role in the biopic. However, her publicist has dismissed the rumours and said that the actress will not play Shanthi in her biopic. He wrote, “Actress #AishwaryaRajesh is not playing the lead in the biopic of athlete Shanthi Soundararajan. No truth in such tweets. Please do not believe in such rumours @aishu_dil (sic).”

Director Jayaseelan has finalised three newcomers to play the role of Shanthi in the biopic. Produced by 888 Productions, the technical crew consists of composer Ghibran and Oscar award-winning sound engineer Resul Pookutty.
AISHWARYA RAJESH’S UPCOMING FILMS

Aishwarya Rajesh’s last film, Ka Pae Ranasingam released on Zee Plex, a pay-per-view platform last year. Eventually, the film was available for streaming on the Zee5 platform.

She has nearly half a dozen films in the pipeline. Her upcoming films include Bhoomika, Republic, Thittam Irandu, Tuck Jagadish, Driver Jamuna, Dhruva Natchathiram and an untitled remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
