Ishita Dutta
Ishita Dutta is an Indian film and television actress, known for her role in the suspense thriller film Drishyam (2015) and the Hindi soap opera Ek Ghar Banaunga, that aired on Star Plus. She is the younger sister of actress Tanushree Dutta.
Dutta was raised in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. She attended D.B.M.S. English School in her hometown, Jamshedpur and studied Media Studies in Mumbai. Her sister, Tanushree Dutta, is also a model/actress known for winning the Femina Miss India title (2004).
Dutta started her acting career with the 2012 Telugu film Chanakyudu, opposite Tanish. Ishita and her sister Tanushree Dutta were to work together in their next film, Yenidu Manasali, directed by Shrikanth H.R. and produced by Niyaaz Ahmed, but it was left incomplete and unreleased. She then played the leading role in the soap opera Ek Ghar Banaunga.
She made her Bollywood debut, playing a supporting role in the 2015 action drama Drishyam alongside actors Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran. She played the role of Ajay Devgn’s daughter. Comedian turned actor Kapil Sharma is all set to produce his next film named ‘Firang’.
As per the reports, Tamannah Bhatia and Ishita Dutt had been roped in to play the lead roles. Ishita Dutta is the younger sister of Bollywood actress, Tanushree Dutta. They are very much close to each other. Ishita said, “My sister always says that people should give you work because of your ability and not for anything else.
She made her career on her and she wanted the same for me. I am lucky that she has always been there for guidance but while doing all this, she didn’t spoon-feed me.”She also added, “When I started off my career I did each and everything on my own.
Whether it was finding numbers or going for auditions it was done all alone without anyone’s help. Tanushree has always taught me to be happy in whatever situation I am in so whatever I am today is because of her guidance. Now, I have the strength to go forward and achieve things and so I am not dependent on anybody.”
