Mayank Anand Shraddha Nigam is a label dedicated to bringing Indian handloom fabrics and weaves back into mainstream fashion. The designers reinterpret textiles into contemporary clothing.

The design quotient is minimalist with an ability to transcend – “from the ramp to the home,” seamlessly. The label is positioned for an urban audience with a flair for experimentation and individuality.
We choose to present Indian hand-woven fabrics and textiles away from the context the fabrics are woven in.
This ensures that we can continue to give work to our weavers and craftsmen in today’s day and age and help keep alive our rich cultural heritage making it relevant to the times we live in.

In a way, we represent the work of our weavers, craftsmen and artisans in a contemporary world. Weaving is India’s largest economic activity after agriculture.
There are 53 lakh weavers in our country. 15% of cloth production in India is hand loom. 95% of fabric in the world comes from India.

So promoting something this authentically Indian gives us a deep sense of pride.
