Designer Althea Krishna brings in her collection-“BRAZALETTA“. The attempt to glorify and impose the vibrant colours of bangles on a fabric that twirls around a woman to enhance her feminine beauty is visualized and personified by Designer Althea in this collection.
Being inspired from the high-school poem “Bangle Sellers” by the Nightingale of India, Smt. Sarojini Naidu, this talented designer has launched this unique collection.
The collection Brazaletta brings in life that all-encompassing beauty of bangle as it wraps around the slim waist of a damsel in the form of a fabric. It enriches her glow with vibrant colors and occasional sparkle that are raring to shine.
It speaks of a woman’s vibrancy and craving desire to free herself, while letting herself to be loosely tied, just enough to enhance her natural beauty. Commenting on her new line, Althea, owner of eponymous label Althea Krishna says.
“All my designs have traditional Indian roots. So, I hope to bring in life the enchantress that a woman is with colors of bangles and occasional sparkles, allowing her the freedom she craves, yet enveloped by love.
Bangles in vivid colors exemplify and depict the strength, love, compassion, purity, glory and freedom in a women’s life.
Moreover, since wedding season is around the corner, I thought it would be a good idea to start it with a collection that is wearable and also has a touch of vintage to it”.
