Anita Dongre launched her flagship store last week in Delhi at the DLF Emporio mall, with beautiful bridal, couture and pret collections along with a silver jewellery line on display.
Spread over 3,000 sqft, the store, which is the designer’s first bridal space in the capital, is reminiscent of the regality of Rajasthan.

Accents of hot pink popping out of curved arches on the walls, grey block printed panels and rich shades of blue pottery contrasted with the geometric monochromed floor, upholstered chairs juxtaposed with silver furniture, and a Rajasthani carved jhula fit for royalty for brides-to-be in Dongre’s signature room,

All give the heritage-inspired space an aura of contemporary elegance. Opulent lehengas in soft pastels with gold motifs and sherwanis in rich hues of royal blue and green hang from the walls. “My design philosophy is elegant, feminine yet comfortable and I present my vision through my latest collection,
India Modern, seeped in heritage without being weighed down by decorative detailing,” Dongre tells. Dongre’s Delhi store also stocks her bespoke line of gold jadau and silver jewellery, called Pinkcity, along with a range of Anita Dongre Menswear.
