Sarah-Jane Dias was born to a Parsi-Christian couple in Muscat, Oman. She did her early formal education from Indian schools in Oman, later carried on her studies in Mumbai.

Sarah-Jane Dias did her first acting venture working in “Brides Wanted” (2006) in which she played groom’s best friend to help him find his soul mate. Then acting in 2010 by playing Priya in Tamil romantic comedy “Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai” opposite Vishal Krishna along with Netu Chandra and Tanushree Dutta, its shooting was done in Hyderabad, Kochi in India and in Maldives, Australia, New Zealand and was considered a commercial success and was re-released in Telugu version on March 16, 2012.
After a successful entry in acting she got a lifetime chance to open the Bollywood’s door on her by working opposite Abhishek Bacchan in her first Bollywood success “Game” (2011) in which she played the role of a girl who ran from her house and eventually dies in a planned accident. Then she got a chance to work with Ekta Kapoor in her adult comedy “Kya Super Kool hain hum” sequel of Ekta’s movie “Kya Kool Hain Hum” (2005) opposite Ritesh Deshmukh along with Tushar Kapoor and Neha, the film received pretty much average reviews from critiques.
Sarah-Jane Dias is working on her upcoming Tamil dubbed version “Jai” originally Telugu movie “Panja”(2011) with Pawan Kalyan, Anjali Lavania and JackieShroff directed by Vishnuvardhan, which is going to be released soon.
